A is for our Assembly on the Commonwealth Games,

B is for baking, Finian made us delicious biscuits and scones,

C is for Crazy Hair Day for Children in Need and Cricket lessons with Rory,

D is for the Dance Festival, we had 3 teams dance the Waratah Weaver,

E is for Enjoy a Ball and our helper Ellen who came and did weaving,

F is for Fit 4 Fun and the Christmas Fayre in the Volunteer Hall, we raised over £500.

G is for Gail and Sally from Farm to Fork who visited and made dream catchers with us,

H is for the Hirsel, we went there twice! Amy and Jack Y also went to Hawick to recite their poems in the Burns Competition,

I is for the interesting trips we have done and the one we still have to do, THE ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW.

J is for James G who left our class at Easter,

K is for kicking a football with Sean and the Football Festival at Chirnside,

L is for Leanne from GlasgowUniversity. She came on our trip to Middlestots and asked a group some questions about farming,

M is for Middlestots farm. A trip as a prize for winning the RHET Competition. We also won a BIG Breakfast and a £50 book token,

N is for the novels we have read as a class. The Sheep-Pig by Dick-King Smith, The Butterfly Lion and Twist of Gold by Michael Morpurgo.

O is for outings, we have done so many!!!!!!!!

P is for the poems we have written this year, like Katie Bairdie,

Q is for the Quorn lady who came in and showed us how to cook some delicious things. It was good!

R is for Robert Burns, we had a fun afternoon reciting poems, singing songs and tasting traditional Scottish Fayre.

S is for Scotsheep at Quixwood Farm,

T is for treats like tennis at the park and a popcorn and movie afternoon,

U is for unusual events like Clyde visiting and The Queen’s Baton Relay Day,

V is for a visit from Sheila Sim to talk about Fairtrade,

W is for weaving Willows design and World Book Day,

X is for x-rays, we have had 3 broken wrists in our class this year,

Y is for yummy food we have cooked this year, from tattie and leek soup to semolina!
