End of Term Triumphs!

This is always a very busy time in schools, but this year has been particularly productive for Duns Primary. We’ve had P3/4 B and P4T designing and selling beautiful Christmas decorations at the Heart of Duns village; Nursery entertaining parents with ‘First Nativity’ and P1 performing ‘Away in a Manager’; P2 and P3 singing traditional carols finishing with ‘All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!’ ; ┬áP5 and P4/5 having a whale of a time at their party and then singing beautifully at the Church service; P5/6M and P6O moving everyone with the song ‘Pacem’ which means ‘Peace’. P4s, P5s, P6s, P7s and the Choir visiting different places within the community entertaining the residents. In addition, Wombat, Christine Gilchrist and Susan Shiell have been putting the final touches to our new tutorial area and resource area, whilst the Camera Club and Mr Liddington have loaned us photographs to display. Phew! Oh, and almost forgot! We now have our Pupil Council in place and our Captains and Vice-captains of our newly re-formed House system. A happy and safe Christmas and New Year! Check out News&Events-Whole School Events for photographs of our busy time.
